These programs also allow students who are not interested intraditional sports to participate in group activities and feel included at school. Participating in Esports can help students build confidence, teamwork skills, and a sense of belonging. Team members learn howto communicate under pressure, practice regularly to improve their performance, and support each other just like athletes inphysical sports. These experiences are especially valuable for students who might feel shy or disconnected, and success incompetitions often motivates them to be more active and focused in their academic life. Research and school reports show that Esports programs can even improve academic outcomes and increase graduation rates. Students involved in Esports are often more willing to attend classes, maintain passing grades, and plan for their future to stayeligible for the team. This suggests that competitive games are not a distraction, but instead a new pathway to help students stayengaged in school and build long-term goals for their careers.
